Imagine Learning is a language and literacy software program for English language learners, students with disabilities, struggling readers, and early childhood education students. With Imagine Learning, students receive differentiated instruction in the five essential components of reading: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading fluency, and reading comprehension.
The Imagine Learning software program includes more than 4,300 engaging, multimodal activities that use texts, videos, animations, recordings, games, and more to teach literacy skills and concepts. Consequently, students are attentive and eager to interact with the program. This translates to increased usage, quality instruction, and improved performance.
During this “over the shoulder session” you will also learn about reports and tools impeded in Imagine Learning that will help drive instruction.
Imagine Learning employs a combination of ongoing assessment, explicit instruction, modeling, practice, scaffolding, and differentiated pathways. As students progress through the program, the software continually and automatically assesses the students’ performance on the material in each lesson or activity. Curriculum is automatically adjusted to ensure students are provided with appropriately-challenging content they need for measurable growth. Additionally, Imagine Learning provides first-language support in fifteen languages.
